De Dr. Grandel Wirkstoff-Ampullen AHA-Effect bevat 5 procent fruitzuren. De zachte exfoliërende werking is bedoeld om het uiterlijk van de huid te verfijnen. Ook wordt gezegd dat de huid wordt geregenereerd en gladgestreken. Provitamine B5 heeft een verzachtende werking. Bij gebruik van de ampullen moet de hele dag zonbescherming worden gebruikt, omdat AHA de lichtgevoeligheid kan verhogen.
